When your baby is more mobile and keen to put weight onto the legs, Baby Yoga can be taken one stage further....
Toddler Yoga has all the benefits associated with Baby Yoga but the exercises become a little more adventurous. Toddler Yoga can involve the whole family, it can be done 'one to one' or in a group. It encourages pre-verbal communication, enhances physical confidence and crucially it reminds adult and child to relax together. This not only enriches the parent-child relationship but also helps stimulate the mental and emotional faculties of the child.
Toddlers or parents do not need to have had previous yoga experience to enjoy this video.
These exercises are presented by Dr Freedman and her fellow yoga tutors Sally Lomas and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. In addition there is a section specifically designed for the nursery school environment.
